* Minimum age of 18 years old

Training

Our comprehensive 4 months training programme will cover topics such as:
* Product Knowledge including Food & Beverage
* Service Procedures
* Passenger Handling
* Deportment & Grooming

* First Aid

On successful completion of training you will commence flying duties.

Remuneration & Service Benefits

You will be paid a basic salary during training. Upon graduation, you can look forward to a basic salary and various allowances amounting to about SGD $3,500 a month. In addition, there is an annual wage supplement of one month’s basic salary and profit-sharing bonus. You will also be entitled to free travel to any SIA destination once a year and enjoy discounted travel at other times.

Be able to commit to a period of 18 months of consecutive training with no disruption

To attend pre-flight briefing, during which Flight Attendant are assigned their working positions for the upcoming flight

The EPP is a fully integrated EASA ATPL course incorporating additional intensive airline preparation and A320 type rating training.

Upon completion of their flight training with Airways Aviation, successful cadets will have the necessary skills and qualifications to allow them to apply for vacancies in international airlines having a cadet pilot scheme.

REQUIREMENTS

Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
Minimum GCE ‘A’ level, Polytechnic Diploma or Degree. In addition, you must have obtained a minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics, taken at one sitting
At least 1.65 m in height
Myopia of not more than 500 degrees and astigmatism of not more than 125 degrees, fully correctable with optical aids. For candidates who have undergone corrective eye surgery, the pre-surgical visual acuity must meet the above requirements
Medically fit
Completed, exempted from, or not liable for National Service

TRAINING

Successful candidates will be trained to acquire either an Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) or a Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) at Pilot Training Schools in Singapore and overseas. Full board and lodging will be provided. Upon obtaining the ATPL or MPL, you will undergo further training to become a First Officer.

REMUNERATIONS AND SERVICE BENEFITS

A monthly allowance will be provided during training. On appointment as a First Officer, you will enjoy a competitive salary along with various allowances and benefits.

EMPLOYMENT

Successful candidates will be offered an exciting career with extensive training, development and progression plans with one of the following companies:

BOND

Successful candidates will be required to serve SIA, SilkAir or SIA Cargo (as the case may be) for the duration of the training and for a period of 7 years from the date of appointment as First Officer.

The BA Cityflyer First Officer Placement Programme is a unique work placement and sponsorship programme, specifically designed for modular trained CPL/IR holders which leads to a the full time, permanent role as a First Officer on BA Cityflyer’s Embraer fleet.

The successful candidate will also benefit from the combined opportunity to gain operational experience in the airline, through the salaried role of Navigation, Weights and Performance Officer, while also continuing their professional development through airline sponsored training including type rating and BESTPILOT™.

The cost of both the type rating and the Kura BESTPILOT™ programme will be met by BA Cityflyer.

The pilot will be bonded for 2 years.

Entry Requirements:

· EASA CPL/IR (A)
· ICAO Level 6 English
· Full clean driving licence
· Full unrestricted EU passport
· Be able to satisfying BACF referencing requirements
· Must be able to attend for selection in the periods stated
· Must be able to commence employment on the 1 December 2015

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of the Microsoft suite of packages and specifically Excel. In addition candidates must be flexible as the airline may require the individual to be located away from London on occasion. Experience of working in an airline environment, dispatch or I.T. is desirable but not essential.

Remuneration

Starting salary for the role of Navigation, Weights and Performance Officer is £27841 plus company benefits.

The salary for the First Officer role will be the Trainee Entry Pilot (TEP) entry salary at that time. The salary for TEP entrants is currently c. £32000.

All new TEP First Officers are bonded in the first 12 months of employment. At the end of the 12 months they move on to full salary which is currently c. £42000.
