MINIMUM CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum High School certification or any higher education.

  • Confident in water and be able to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
  • Able to reach 210cms without shoes.
  • No tattoos nor body piercing (exception for one earring in the lower lobe of each ear for females only) that would be visible whilst wearing the Etihad uniform (bandages and cosmetic coverings are not permitted).
  • No criminal record.
  • Excellent personal presentation, style and image.
  • Willing to comply with UAE and GCAA visa, medical and health screening requirements.

We are partnering with our preferred training organisation, Singapore Flying College (SFC) to develop the Scoot-Tigerair Cadet Programme to groom our own talent. Our cadets will undergo a customised self-funded 18 months training course at SFC. Completion of the course equips you with a Commercial Pilot Licence (Instrument Rating) or 'Frozen' ICAO ATPL. Now, you are one step closer to becoming a Second Officer/Junior First Officer!

Upon graduation from SFC, you will undertake Scoot-Tigerair's Multi- Crew Coordination, type, base and line training to ensure you are fully equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to fly Scoot's Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Tigerair's Airbus A320.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimally 18 years old (as required by regulations in Air Navigation Order).
  • Legally entitled to work in Singapore upon completion of training.
  • GCE 'O' level and above. A minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE 'O' level or its equivalent at one sitting. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics.
  • Qualify for Class I & II unrestricted medical certification as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
  • Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind.
  • Be able to commit to a period of 18 months of consecutive training with no disruption.
  • Physically and mentally fit.

To attend pre-flight briefing, during which Flight Attendant are assigned their working positions for the upcoming flight

To carrying out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy, ensuring that information in the seat pockets is up to date and that all meals and stock are on board

To welcome passengers on board and directing them to their seats;

Basic Requirements
  • Have the right of abode in Hong Kong
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Minimum of Grade E in 5 HKCEE subjects (including Level 2 or above in English & Chinese language) OR
  • Minimum Level 2 in 5 HKDSE New Senior Secondary School Subjects (including English and Chinese language) OR equivalent
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and one of the following Asian languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian or Malay. European languages including French, German and Spanish would be an advantage. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred

We invite suitable candidates with a strong interest in aviation to join us as Cadet Pilots


REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to all Nationalities
  • Polytechnic Diploma or University Degree. In addition, you must demonstrate proficiency in English, Mathematics and Science, preferably Physics (with at least credits in GCE 'O' levels or its equivalent)
  • At least 1.65 m in height
  • Myopia of not more than 500 degrees and astigmatism of not more than 125 degrees, fully correctable with optical aids. For candidates who have undergone corrective eye surgery, the pre-surgical visual acuity must meet the above requirements
  • Medically fit
  • Completed, exempted from, or not liable for National Service
TRAINING

Successful candidates will be trained to acquire either an Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) or a Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) at Pilot Training Schools in Singapore and overseas. Full board and lodging will be provided. Upon obtaining the ATPL or MPL, you will undergo further training to become a First Officer.


SELECTION PROCESS

All interviews will be held in Singapore. Applicants undergo five stages comprising online application, preliminary interview, aptitude test, final interview with senior management as well as a medical check-up.

REMUNERATIONS AND SERVICE BENEFITS


A monthly allowance will be provided during training. On appointment as a First Officer, you will enjoy a competitive salary along with various allowances and benefits.

EMPLOYMENT


Successful candidates will be offered an exciting career with extensive training, development and progression plans with one of the following companies:


• Singapore Airlines                   • SilkAir                        • SIA Cargo

BOND

Successful candidates will be required to serve SIA, SilkAir or SIA Cargo (as the case may be) for the duration of the training and for a period of 7 years from the date of appointment as First Officer.

We will be conducting a recruitment exercise for Cabin Crew in Jakarta. If you meet the following requirements, we will be pleased to meet you at our walk-in interview.

Requirements

* Minimum age of 18 years old
* Females who are at least 1.58m in height
* University degree holder or Diploma 3 holder with some working experience
* High level of English proficiency
* Willing to be based in Singapore

Training

Our comprehensive 4 months training program will cover topics such as:
* Product Knowledge including Food & Beverage
* Service Procedures
* Passenger Handling
* Deportment & Grooming
* Language & Communication Skills
* Safety Equipment Procedures
* First Aid
On successful completion of training you will commence flying duties.

Remuneration & Service Benefits

You will be paid a basic salary during training. Upon graduation, you can look forward to a basic salary and various allowances amounting to about SGD$4,500 - 5000  a month. In addition, there is an annual wage supplement of one month’s basic salary and profit-sharing bonus. You will also be entitled to free travel to any SIA destination once a year and enjoy discounted travel at other times.

We will be conducting a recruitment exercise for Flight Stewardesses/Stewards in Singapore . If you meet the following requirements, we will be pleased to meet you at our walk-in interview.

Requirements

* Singapore citizen
* Minimum age of 18 years old due to legislative requirements
* Fulfil the minimum height requirement of at least 1.58m for females and 1.65m for males in order to carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard
* Degree/Diploma (those who are graduating before February 2018 may also apply if they have any of the two educational qualifications below.)

OR
*At least 2 GCE 'A'-level  (H2 level) credits and 2 'AO'-level (H1 level) credits including General Paper in the GCE 'A'-level examination
