We will be conducting a recruitment exercise for Flight Steward/Stewardesses in Kuala Lumpur . If you meet the following requirements, we will be pleased to meet you at our walk-in interview.


Requirements

* Malaysia or Singapore citizen 
* Minimum age of 18 years old due to legislative requirements
* Fulfill the minimum height requirement of at least 1.58m for females and 1.65m for males in order to carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard
* Degree / Diploma 
 OR
* At least 2 principal level passes and 2 subsidiary passes in STPM / GCE ‘A’ level or its equivalent
OR
* At least 5 credits in SPM / GCE ‘O’ level and relevant working experience
* For Malaysian qualifications at SPM level, at least 5 credits including a minimum of grade B in English and working experience are required


Successful candidates must be able to commence employment with us within six months from the date of application.

Training

Our comprehensive 4 months training program will cover topics such as:
* Product Knowledge including Food & Beverage
* Service Procedures
* Passenger Handling
* Deportment & Grooming
* Language & Communication Skills
* Safety Equipment Procedures
* First Aid
On successful completion of training you will commence flying duties.

Remuneration & Service Benefits

You will be paid a basic salary during training. Upon graduation, you can look forward to a basic salary and various allowances amounting to about SGD$4,500 - 5000  a month. In addition, there is an annual wage supplement of one month’s basic salary and profit-sharing bonus. You will also be entitled to free travel to any SIA destination once a year and enjoy discounted travel at other times.

Flight Attendant (Hong Kong Base)
Requirements:
  • Permanent Hong Kong resident status
  • Minimum age of 18

    or
    HKDSE: Minimum of Level 2 in five New Senior Secondary School Subjects (or “Attained” for Applied Learning Subjects, or Grade E for Other Language Subjects) including English Language, or equivalent
  • Fluency in English and one Asian language (Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Tagalog or Thai). Mandarin is a preferred language.

  • A minimum arm-reach of 208 cm and physical fitness to pass the pre-employment medical assessment

Upon successful selection by us, aspiring Cadet Pilots will be enrolled into the AirAsia MPL Program to earn a Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) with a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) before reaching the ultimate goal of piloting our prized Airbus A320 aircrafts.

We are partnering with our preferred training organisation, Singapore Flying College (SFC) to develop the Scoot Cadet Programme to groom our own talent. Essential Requirements
  • Minimally 18 years old (as required by regulations in Air Navigation Order).
  • Legally entitled to work in Singapore upon completion of training.
  • GCE 'O' level and above. A minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE 'O' level or its equivalent at one sitting. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics.
  • Qualify for Class I & II unrestricted medical certification as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
  • Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind.
  • Be able to commit to a period of 18 months of consecutive training with no disruption.
  • Physically and mentally fit.

Air Hong Kong Pilot Recruitment - Direct Entry First Officers ( A300-600GF )

Training

At AHK we conduct all A300 pilot training ourselves, using our A300 simulator and facilities in Hong Kong.

Career Progression

Pilots joining as Junior First Officer on the A300F will serve one year under probation. If the required standards are maintained, Junior First Officers will then be promoted to the rank of First Officer after a total of 2 years of service. Progression between aircraft types operated by AHK, and selection for Command, are driven by operational requirements and assessed individual suitability, in seniority order. Career progression to flying training, technical and flying management positions is available. 

Flying

The current AHK operation sees most flights departing the Hong Kong hub at 0300-0500 local time, and arriving at the outports 2-4 hours later. The aircraft remain at the outports doing the day, and fly back to Hong Kong late evening, the crew resting at the outports in quality hotels. Cargo is predominantly DHL Express freight.

Roster 

Current A300 Fleet rosters are reliable with steady blocks of days on/days off cycles. Each work cycle consists of either one to two sectors each night, reserve duties, and recurrent simulator/ground training when due. Target monthly flying rate on the A300 and A330 is currently 45 hours. The nature of the AHK express cargo flying operation is such that changes to the commencement of duty cycles are rare.These cycles and targets are not contractual and may vary should the DHL Express operating plan change, however AHK aims to maintain the principle of rostering predictable days on/days off cycles.

Crew Rest

To support fatigue mitigation, AHK provides comfortable, quality airport-convenient hotel accomodation from 11 hours prior to the commencement of the first duty during each work pattern, through to the end of each pattern, regardless of type of duty.

Pilot Basing and Domicile

All AHK pilot positions offered are HK based. Pilots may choose to live in other locations if they have the applicable local legal right to do so. Pilots are required to pay HK tax, and are responsible for paying any other taxes that may be required due to nationality and domicile.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum requirements : 
     Hold a valid ICAO Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) together with a 'frozen' ATPL i.e. has passed all ATPL examination subjects
     Have a minimum of 3000 hours flying experience
     Have a minimum of 1000 hours jet experience
     Hold a valid multi-engine instrument rating
     Hold a current Class 1 medical certificate
     ICAO level 4 fluency in spoken English


Compensation

AHK’s pilot compensation strategy is to offer as the prime attraction, the stable, work/life balance rosters as per our current practice, along with the fatigue mitigation and convenience of Company provided hotel accommodation prior to and throughout all work patterns. 

AHK’s pay is competitive with other airlines that employ HK based pilots. 

AHK offers a portion of compensation that includes pay and allowances that are paid on a fixed basis. Variable pay is provided for hours flown above a minimum guaranteed threshold (our A300 pilots currently fly 45 hours/month), as are some other allowances. Details of the contract for new joining Junior First Officers, and compensation increases with career progression, will be provided at the time of job offer.
